Health and Wellness Program

  • September 25, 2017

As part of a day hosting 20 veterans in the Navesink River area of NJ for a day of art and equine therapy, Mark Otto brought the group of Veterans to Serenity Stables, From Combat to Calm. Mark Otto developed The Health and Wellness Program for the United War Veterans Council, Inc. which offers an alternative to more traditional means of medicating returning veterans battling with the hidden wounds of war. Today, over 200 veterans have participated in the program over the past 3 months! This program is made possible through the help of  friends and affiliates at Serenity Stables From Combat To CalmAni Art Academy AmericaSail Ahead: Healing Wounded Veterans through SailingGORUCK and Camp Elk Tannery. Shout out to my patriotic friends at Umberto’s Pizzeria in Fair Haven NJ, for providing us with delicious meals when we are in the area. Together we are impacting the lives of veterans that need it most. Be sure and catch our interview on News 12 at 10pm tonight! Semper Fi, MO 🎗🇺🇸
